About Event

The NASA Space Apps Challenge 2025 is the world’s largest annual hackathon, happening on October 4–5, 2025 at SNS College of Technology, Coimbatore. This global innovation fest brings together students, developers, designers, engineers, entrepreneurs, and space enthusiasts to tackle real-world challenges on Earth and in space using NASA’s open data.

With free registration, a prize pool worth ₹2.5+ Lakhs, and opportunities to compete for 10 Global NASA Awards, this event is a gateway for young innovators to LEARN, LAUNCH, and LEAD in the fields of science, technology, and space exploration.

Join us in this two-day journey of creativity, collaboration, and cosmic innovation – where your ideas can truly make an impact on Earth and beyond.

Events

Day 1 – October 4, 2025

Inauguration & Welcome Address – Grand opening with dignitaries, HODs, and NASA Space Apps representatives.

Challenge Briefing – Introduction to hackathon problem statements and datasets from NASA.

Team Formation & Idea Pitching – Students form teams (1–6 members) and share innovative approaches.

Hackathon Kick-off – Coding, designing, and brainstorming begins.

Mentorship Sessions – Guidance from experts, faculty, and industry mentors.

Collaboration & Networking Zone – Dedicated space for interaction and brainstorming.
